ADR 2013: important news_Cap3

Part 3 of ADR concerning “dangerous goods list, special provisions and exemptions related to limited and excepted quantities” introduces some news with respect to the previous version. As usual there are changes in the goods list, with the entry of 10 new UN numbers and some changes for existing ones.

La Parte 3 dell’ADR in materia di "Lista delle merci pericolose, disposizioni speciali e esenzioni relative alle merci pericolose imballate in quantità limitate e in quantità esenti" contiene alcune novità rispetto alla versione precedente. Come al solito ci sono cambiamenti nella lista di merci, con l'ingresso di 10 nuovi numeri ONU e alcune modifiche di quelli esistenti.

As already mentioned in the previous post, ADR 2013 adds the “chemicals under pressure” in Class 2 (Gases):

UN 3500 CHEMICAL UNDER PRESSURE, N.O.S.

UN 3501 CHEMICAL UNDER PRESSURE, FLAMMABLE, N.O.S.

UN 3502 CHEMICAL UNDER PRESSURE, TOXIC, N.O.S

UN 3503 CHEMICAL UNDER PRESSURE, CORROSIVE, N.O.S.

UN 3504 CHEMICAL UNDER PRESSURE, FLAMMABLE, TOXIC, N.O.S.

UN 3505 CHEMICAL UNDER PRESSURE, FLAMMABLE, CORROSIVE, N.O.S.

And in Class 4.2 (Substances which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases):

UN 3497 KRILL MEAL

And also in Class 8 (Corrosive substances):

UN 3506 MERCURY CONTAINED IN MANUFACTURED ARTICLES

UN 3498 IODINE MONOCHLORIDE, LIQUID

And in Class 9 (Miscellaneous dangerous substances and articles):

UN 3499 CAPACITOR

Also Chapters 3.4 (Limited Quantities) and 3.5 (Dangerous goods packed in excepted quantities) have been amended.

Anche i Capitoli 3.4 (Merci pericolose imballate in quantità limitate) e 3.5 (Merci pericolose imballate in quantità esenti) sono stati modificati.
