ADR 2013: important news_Cap2

Also Chapter 2 of ADR 2013, about the Classification, introduces some new features over the previous version and mainly:

• the introduction of Six new entries to satisfy the introduction of "Chemicals under pressure", marked with the digit 8; these are "liquids, pastes or powders, pressurized with a propellant that meets the definitionz of a compressed or liquefied gas and ixtures thereof" (definition at 2.2.2.1.2)
• the introduction of changes to the classification of wastes with the intent to clarify that when waste have only environmental hazardous properties then it can be assigned to packing group III, and UN 3077 or 3082, with greater harmony with the Regulation IMDG
• all substances with a flash-point above 35°C can be exludedfrom Class 3 if they do not maintain combustion according to the criteria (if however these substance are handed over for carriege and carried whilst heated at t equal to or higher rhan their flash-point, they are of Class 3).

Anche il Capitolo 2 dell’ADR 2013, concernente la Classificazione, introduce alcune novità rispetto alla versione precedente e principalmente:

• l’introduzione di 6 nuove rubriche relative ai prodotti chimici sotto pressione, contrassegnati con la cifra 8; si tratta di “liquidi, paste o polveri, pressurizzati con un propellente che rientra nella definizione di gas (o miscele di gas) compresso o liquefatto” (definizione al 2.2.2.1.2)
• l’introduzione di modifiche sulla classificazione dei rifiuti con l’intento di precisare che quando i rifiuti possiedono solo caratteristiche di pericolosità per l'ambiente allora può essere assegnato il gruppo di imballaggio III, e i il numero ONU 3077 o 3082, in maggiore armonia con il regolamento IMDG.
• tutte le materia aventi punto di infiammabilità superiore a 35°C (anche se tossiche e corrosive) non appartengono alla Classe 3 se non mantengono la combustione secondo i criteri (resta l'eccezione sul trasporto a caldo o con temperatura uguale o superiore a quella di infiammabilità).
